Visit the Inner Room of Love - Are You Showing Up Fully for Your Life?

Right in this moment love is in the air. If you take a deep breath you can draw it in to your heart and down to your belly. You can let it intoxicate you. I mean it!

We miss the very essence of life when we attach love to certain people, circumstances or events. Are you showing up fully for your life as it is right now?

When you show up fully life meets you with fullness too. And life, at the core is filled with the energy of love.

Imagine, that your life matters. I mean really matters - every single precious moment of it. And meet the air as if you are offering it a kiss. Drink in the deliciousness of early morning. Celebrate the middle of your day with a nod to the gods and goddesses of pure magnificence.

Why would you let the moments of your life slip by in mediocre ways? Let the tone to your days be filled with wonder, and pleasure. Feel the joy of existence. When the sun sets know the rays continue to light up some other place on the planet. And then welcome the darkness in your own hemisphere.

What does all of this have to do with Love? Everything! Either we are showing up fully for life - and love - or we are contracted, withdrawn, caught in the melodramas we make up in our minds. The stories of emptiness, lack and loss the mind likes to spin for us.

Now - with that preamble take an imaginary journey to the Inner Room of Love. Envision a room in your own consciousness where the highest vibration of love is generated on your behalf.

- What would you call to you now?
- What experiences does your heart yearn for?
- Will you let yourself imagine drawing these into your life?

Do you want to experience a lovers embrace? Tender words from a friend? Open communication with colleagues? Laughter? What will you allow yourself to see and to have? Will you let yourself enjoy dating? Will you know peace being single? Will you allow happiness with your mate?

Whatever state you are ready to appreciate belongs to you and then, when and if you wish, - you can choose something different for yourself again and again.

There is no stop to the journey of creation. Only the creative questions of choices you alone make. What next? What now? Will you say yes to your life? Make your desires real on the inside first. Use that wonderful mind of yours for what matters most - your happiness -your engagement with life -your full presence in all that happens to you.

Live fully and let love awaken inside. Then continue living fully as it blossoms outside also. There is no mystery here. Vibration matches vibration.

If you will drop the pictures of what love should look like and begin assuming that love is present, right here, right now you will begin to see and feel more love everywhere. This is practical spirituality put to work. Knowing that love is the essence of life choose it for yourself, relax and watch it appear!

And remember not to be attached to how it looks. The mind is sneaky. You might miss something spectacular because it does not fit your pictures. Let the pictures go and enjoy the energy. Your heart knows.

Servant Leadership: Wisdom, Inspiration, and Resources

Ask the top toy company how they know what toy will grab the attention of children and theyll tell you.. we go directly to the source.. the kids.

Ask the automobile industry how they design a car that will sell and theyll tell you the same thing, we let our customers design what they want individually...choice is everything.

Ask a manager how he knows he is a good manager and...

Well if youre asking Vineet Nayar, CEO of HCL Technologies located just outside New Dehli India, hell tell you to look on the companys intranet where his grades along with the managers grades are published for all employees to see.

In addition, HCL had developed is an online smart service desk where employees file complaints. However, this is not your typical IT complaint ticket process. Traditionally, a person would fill out a complaint ticket and it is sent to the IT department.

Next, the complaint would be answered by the IT person and then the ticket is closed, making the assumption that the problem was handled. With Nayers employee system he has added a couple of twists; the complaint is read personally by Nyer, posted for other to see and then is closed only by the employee that submitted the complaint...assuring satisfaction.

Nayers management philosophy employees first, customers second has had a dramatic effect on turnover and employee satisfaction in his company. As a result, executives globally, from some of the largest companies, and professors from Ivy League business schools are taking note.

The idea is a simple one and one that is working in a variety of industries; if you want to know what they want... ask them.

Leadership is a relationship with people...and is found everywhere not just at the highest levels of organizations or society for that matter. Success in leadership, success in business, and success in life has always been and will continue to be a function of how well people work and play together.

Servant leaders are concerned with empowering the employee rather than dominating them. Trust is established through being honest and open, keeping action consistent with values, and showing trust in followers. This type of leadership inspires others to become leaders.

Leadership is also self-development. Just as the engineer has computers; a painter has canvas and brushes; a musician has instruments, the leader has self-development. In a survey conducted by the Center for Creative Leadership, 72 % of respondents indicated social skills as the most essential factor to business success.

How can your company get strong long-term performance from your people? Consider implementing a process that includes;

Commitment to the Growth of People - Commitment to personal and professional growth of human capital is the cornerstone of success. One of the most challenging tests is for the leader to acknowledge the importance of growth and development for each and every individual in the company.

The leader can provide on-going learning by developing structures, programs, and activities where everyone can grow. Most importantly, a leader understands and accepts the need to create self-awareness, even when it disturbs more that it comforts.

Listening - Traditionally, leaders have been valued for their communication and decision making skills. Leaders must reinforce these skills by making a commitment to listen intently to others. They, identify the will of the group by listening receptively to what is being said and what is not said.

Servant-leaders promote work environments where individuals can be accepted, authentic, honest, listened to, and productive. They understand that the organizations potential is based on how well it helps people reach their capabilities.

Building Community - Leaders seek to identify a means for building community because they understand that people work best in communities. The leaders are actively involved in the life of the community modeling personal skills, setting examples, and developing everyones comfort level with a participatory approach to community efforts.

Creating Commitment - Leaders recognize that productivity emerges from commitment not control. People work best when they try to accomplish valued missions. It is passions for important purposes that bring out our best. Leaders are those who champion meaningful visions and encourage people to commit their best to achieve them.

Persuasive is the preferred mode of influence. Decisions are reached through collaboration and open communication. Effectiveness is developed through enabling others to act. People should be directly involved in the discussions about the needs and direction of the community.

The collective intelligence always is far more superior than any one persons idea. This model of leadership encourages individuals to step up on their own initiative because they see it as a worthy objective.

There is a deep belief in the unlimited potential of each person and that it is the role of the leader to invite, develop, and encourage this valuable resource. Use daily challenges as opportunities to develop the judgment and decision making capacity of everyone.

Your Mind and How it Works

Your mind has two parts: the Conscious Mind and the Subconscious Mind. Together these two parts control all of your actions and ultimately the results you have in your life. As we explore each area of your mind, understand that while these ideas may seem simple and elementary, they have a wide reaching and profound affect on your life. They control every aspect of what makes you who you are and will continue to control everything in your life until the day you die.

The Conscious Mind

The Conscious Mind is where you do all your day to day thinking. This is where you make decisions and where you primarily operate from in normal life. When you hold a conversation or watch a t.v. program you are using your conscious mind. Both the conscious mind and the subconscious mind think in pictures. If you think about your family members a picture of them will flash on the movie screen of your conscious mind.

You also can only hold one image on the screen of your mind at a time. For example you cannot think of a red apple and an orange in detail at the same time. While you might be able to project them side by side you are not able to see the grain in the skin of the apple or the dimples in the peel of the orange at the same time.

This ultimately means that you cannot think of a negative idea and a positive idea at the same time. While your mind might be able to flip back and forth between negative and positive ideas or images very rapidly, it is not able to hold those two images at the same time.

The Subconscious Mind

Most people would think that the Conscious Mind controls the Subconscious Mind, but this is not so. The Subconscious Mind is the real mover and shaker in our lives. The Subconscious Mind stores all our beliefs about who we are, what we are capable of, what we are not capable of and every other detail we believe to be true about the world. We can refer to the Subconscious Mind as the emotional mind.

The subconscious mind operates in the background of your life and while you sleep. Dreams are a product of your subconscious mind. You can think of the subconscious mind as a computer program running without your help at all times. An example of this would be when you have suddenly realized that you have not been paying attention while driving and you are almost home from work.

The entire drive to and from work is a program that you have put into your subconscious mind through repetition. Your driving is almost automatic and takes very little thinking on your part. In fact without consciously thinking about going to the store when driving that pathway you will drive straight home. Your programming will take over and you will "forget" to go to the store unless you hold the image of the store at the forefront of your mind when driving home.

To convert the things you want in your life to reality you must understand how to use both your conscious and sub-conscious mind. By continually thinking about the good things you want and visualizing these images you will impress them on your subconscious mind. Over time your actions will change and you will start to move the things you want into your reality.

Personal Development Tips For Manifestation

If you have studied personal development or self improvement for a while then you will be aware that that your thoughts are things - real tangible things. In fact they are the most powerful things in existence because they influence everything that occurs in your life?

In fact the very world that we now live in is the sum total of everyone’s previous thoughts. These thoughts helped mould and shape the our modern day life. The forefathers of the USA thought of freedom and set in motion a notion that dominates an entire country today! So is it so hard to belive that the thoughts you are thinking are leading you into actions that will have an affect on your family, your kids, their kids and their kids too?

But we can go a step further than that! Thought, in fact, shapes everything that exists, everything that has existed, and everything that will ever exist. It is the building block from which the Universe creates our physical reality. “If this is true”, you may ask, “then shouldn’t it be possible to bring into existence anything and everything we desire just by sending out the correct thoughts?”

Well, the short simple and powerful answer is - yes!

Through the power of deliberate controlled thought that we can create absolutely anything we want. It has been shown many times by many people that sustained thought can bring us tangible things like, houses and cars etc., and it can also create intangible things like harmony in the home, a rejuvenated relationship etc. However, often times sustained thought alone is not enough, at least for the vast majority of us!

Thinking or Intention, is the first step in the manifestation process but there are 2 other fundamental steps that many people ignore.

The second step in conscious manifestation is emotion. Your directed thoughts must be backed by emotion. The stronger the emotion you evoke then the more powerful your thought will become until it is an irresistible force that MUST manifest. In order to utilise emotion properly you have to experience the feelings that having your desire will actually create in you if you were to experience the reality of it right now. For most of us this is easy to do. All you do is imagine that you already have what you want and immediately you begin to feel the joy of having it. You actually use thought & emotion to manifest all the time only you use it in the opposite direction. For example, you think of something happening that you are afraid may happen and do not want to happen. All of a sudden you feel frightened, you get tense and may even start to exhibit some physiological symptoms such as shaking or sweating. You think of someone who instigated a terrible deed against you and you feel anger or even rage. This is the process of visualisation backed by emotion and it gives you immediate access to the creative force behind the universe! This force doesn’t care what is being imagined it just gets the message and begins to manifest it!

You must begin to reverse this method of thinking immediately. Think only of what you do want and conjure up as many good feelings associated with that as you can. Dispel as much of your negative/emotional thinking as you can. How will it feel to meet and marry that perfect person? How will it feel behind the wheel of that brand new car you want or in the kitchen of that luxurious new house? Feel those feelings when you think of your desires and already you will be setting powerful forces in motion to bring those things to you.

The second key step of manifestation is the one most people completely overlook but it is just as important as the other two. This step is “action!” You must put yourself in a position where you are able to take action. This is a key point that many personal development & self improvement teachers leave out of their seminars and reconrdings! Action is necessary to reach any goal. However, the action that you need to take should not be strenuous or a toil (unless you enjoy that type of challenge), it will be enjoyable and it must feel like the right course of action for you.

Each of us here on earth has our own special role to play in symphony of life. We are all interconnected and interdependent. We truly are all One. Your desires and goals will almost always come to you through natural channels by some form of action and through other people.

Although thoughts which are backed by emotion become an unstoppable force, you still need to be willing to take action steps, no matter how small, towards your goals - especially when these steps are presented to you. Take someone who sits visualising meeting their soul mate everyday. She really gets into it, feeling all the wonderful joy, excitement, comfort and love that will surround her when she meets this special person. She gets so involved in the visualisation that it feels as though she is already with this person. Now this kind of thinking and believing will most definitely bring opportunities for meeting her soul mate to the visualizer but lets say she never ventures out of the house! She finds herself receiving unexpected invitations getting calls and visits from old friends but still she refuses to leave the house. Can you see what the outcome would be? After a while this woman would lose faith and begin to doubt that all this “positive thinking” stuff works when in fact she has blocked herself by refusing to take action!

Here the Universe is trying to set her on a path to her desires. Even if they were things she had no desire to do or places she did not want to go, she should have accepted the invitations. Who knows who she would have met or where she may have ended up! She may have met someone who knew someone else who had a friend that was everything she wanted and now she has closed off that opportunity for meeting him. Stay open to the action you need to take and you will surely fall into your goals!

So lets recap on the 3 steps:

Step 1 - thoughts create things.

Step 2 - thoughts that are backed by strong emotion or belief will rearrange the very Universe to bring to you the essence of that thought.

Step 3 - action is necessary to bring you into a position to accept the physical equivalent of your thought.

You can create the life of your dreams. Thoughts really do create things. Use these three simple steps and you will manifest all that you desire and you will be living the life of your dreams. Now get out there and start to CREATE!

Personal Growth

I was having a conversation with a man recently and his name is Jair. We talked about how to change lives. To me it's sad to say, but it's not just that easy.

I told him point blank that I could tell him everything that was wrong with him but that wouldn't change him. He looked stunned for a second because there's so much stuff on TV that says otherwise. You know these quick fix programs.

This is where I feel that your psychic abilities kick in to save the day. I am of the belief that somehow life gets so busy and crazy we develop these character flaws. So it's these flaws plus the busy and crazy life, that we never address them and they become worse over time. As time goes by these flaws bring us down like a meteorite crashing to the ground (Hot and Loud). I really belief at this point we hit a psychic bottom; it's where the pain of change is less the pain of staying the same. It's this Psychic change that somehow overpowers the old character flaws and reset things, which now benefit us.Psychic Sense does for us, what we can't do for ourselves.

Lets look at a person who's taken down to a police station for a crime. At first glance they may think the police are fooled with an extraordinary story. Soon the person realizes the holes in their story and looks to change the story over and over. Then they realize the story won't hold up, they look for help on the legal side (Their Lawyer). Finally the trial comes and goes and they sit there waiting for a vote. It's at this moment they have a psychic change because they seek spirituality or religion in their time of need. Reality crashes down the busy and crazy and the mind resets into its safest parts, which is the psychic realm. Here they are comforted and propped up by spirit guides and family. Imagine how you would feel if there was an army with you and protecting you. That is the peace of mind that changes a person when they understand that’s the psychic realm offers unconditional love with no judgment against them. Some may say this is too good to be true. I know it ran across my mind too, but here I stand a changed person filled with love and compassion. When you give up the crazy and the busy or it gives up you that will be the day you'll find the changes you need.

Just remember to hit the reset button.

When we push this button our minds go back to state of our original state. Remember being a kid and not having a care in world. No responsibility or bills, this here is the closest to our original state. Just like a computer going haywire, just push the reset button and magically its goes back to normal (Reset equals normal).

I hope this blog was helpful and useful. May this message find you in good health, wealth and happiness.

Self-Esteem: Who Do You Want to Be?

"We lift ourselves by our thought. If you want to enlarge your life, you must first enlarge your thought of it and of yourself. Hold the ideal of yourself as you long to be, always everywhere."
--Orison Sweet Marden, 1850-1924, Author and Founder of Success Magazine

How do you see yourself in your mind's eye? When you think about yourself or get an image of yourself, do you value what you see?

IMAGE WHO YOU WANT TO BE

One powerful way of becoming who you want to be is to begin to image yourself as you want to be in many different life situations. For example:

• Who do you want to be when someone is attacking you or criticizing you? How do you want to respond?

• Who do you want to be when challenging events occur in your life? How do you want to respond?

• Who do you want to be regarding honesty and integrity?

• Who do you want to be regarding your management of time?

• Who do you want to be regarding the organization of your living and work environment?

• Who do you want to be regarding the health of your physical body - how you eat, how much you exercise, how much sleep you get?

• Who do you want to be regarding the way you treat other people, especially loved ones?

• Who do you want to be regarding how you think and feel in your everyday life?

• Who do you want to be regarding your spiritual life?

Holding an image of "the ideal of yourself as you long to be," as Marden states in the above quote, is an important way of moving yourself toward your ideal. It is not enough to think of yourself in these ways - you need to actually image yourself as you want to be. Create little videos in your mind's eye of these different situations in your life, seeing yourself as you want to be.

LOOK FOR ROLE MODELS

Think about the people in your life, or people you know about, or even film characters, whom you admire. It is important, in creating your inner images, that you find role models of people behaving in the ways you admire. Then put yourself into those images, seeing yourself behaving in these admirable ways. Thoughts and images are very powerful in changing feelings and behavior.

All of us have been programmed to respond to the challenging situations in our lives by our experiences as we were growing up. You will continue to respond with your automatic programmed responses unless you consciously decide to reprogram yourself. Consciously creating thoughts and images about who you want to be is a form of reprogramming. Since you have practiced your old programming your whole life, it takes an ongoing conscious effort to create new responses. This is why Marden, in the above quote, states that you must "Hold the ideal of yourself as you long to be, always everywhere."

We each have the free will and the power to become who we long to be, but it will not happen without conscious and continuous effort. This kind of change does not just happen, nor does it happen quickly. If you decided to learn to play a musical instrument, you would know that you would need to practice, practice, practice in order to become proficient at it. Becoming who you want to be takes just as much, if not more, practice! Why not begin today creating the images of who you want to be and start practicing them?
